There are just some days when you can't stomach eggs. Like the fifth day of a massive, continuous headache/flu, or the morning after you lost a 2.5 hr (!!) bidding war on a TOWNhome (the price of which went way more than 100k over asking -_- townhome..seriously?!)...
So, enter the smoothie!
I don't do this often for breakfast, because there ends up being quite a bit of sugar (even if it is natural), but it's an o.k. alternative once in awhile.
Here's what I toss in it:
Coconut Almond Milk
Fresh fruit (sometimes banana, today it was strawberries)
Frozen fruit
Frozen spinach
(sometimes 1 tbsp of greek yogurt)
1 scoop of Protein Powder (I like to use Tera's Whey Organic)
Great for a bidding war hangover.
